Parker Hannifin buying domnick hunter to expand filtration, separation business

Cleveland, OH; Durham, U.K.—Parker Hannifin Corp. and domnick hunter group plc have agreed that Parker will acquire all of domnick hunter’s outstanding shares for an undisclosed amount of cash.

Cleveland, OH; Durham, U.K.— Parker Hannifin Corp. and domnick hunter group plc have agreed that Parker will acquire all of domnick hunter’s outstanding shares for an undisclosed amount of cash. The deal is subject to U.S. and European regulatory approvals, as well as a required level of approval by domnick hunter’s shareholders. Its directors have unanimously recommended that domnick hunter’s shareholders accept the offer, which is also supported by its senior management. The transaction is expected to close in the fall of 2005.

The domnick hunter group hadof filtration, separation, and purification products and technologies. The group employs more than 1,900 people, who will become part of Parker’s Filtration Group with results reported in the firm’s industrial segments.
