PC-based control runs on Embedded NT
Ann Arbor, Mich.—A new embedded product incorporates Steeplechase hard real-time control software running in a Microsoft Windows embedded NT environment on an SBS Technologies (Raleigh, N.C.) PC5 industrial, DIN rail-mounted Pentium PC. Steeplechase developed an embedded NT image of its VLC using Component Designer and Target Designer tools from Microsoft.
Ann Arbor, Mich.— A new embedded product incorporates Steeplechase hard real-time control software running in a Microsoft Windows embedded NT environment on an SBS Technologies (Raleigh, N.C.) PC5 industrial, DIN rail-mounted Pentium PC. Steeplechase developed an embedded NT image of its VLC using Component Designer and Target Designer tools from Microsoft. The operating system and application exist on a PC using less than 40 MB total hard disk space, significantly decreasing hardware/software costs for high-volume industrial OEMs. Steeplechase Software Inc.
