PID position controllers
PID-based position controllers are designed for use with small or medium-sized brush motors.
PID-based position controllers are designed for use with small or medium-sized brush motors. Devices provide 32-bit position control for dc motors with 2-channel quadrature encoders. Suited for use in robotics or light industrial positioning systems, they come in three models: Icon PID, mini PID, and micro PID. All have similar feature sets and nearly identical command structures. Included is direct position control via 38.4, 19.2, or 9.6 Kbps serial interface; analog position con-trol mode with offset and multiplier functions; velocity control mode; built in data-logging modes for trapezoidal or direct control operating modes, and more.
