Big River P440 data recorder from Conduant Corp. delivers more than 400 megabytes per second sustained recording and playback performance for field or mobile applications. Device is housed in a rugged portable chassis and includes the StreamStor Amazon, the company’s premium disk controller and 16 high-capacity 2.5-in. notebook disk drives. It features a high-resolution flat panel screen display, keyboard with touchpad mouse, and high-performance motherboard and processor. Device provides reliable high-speed data acquisition in the field, says the company. It uses an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with gigabit Ethernet connectivity and expansion PCI slots for optional third-party high-speed acquisition I/O boards.
