Position servo motor without sensor

San Jose, Calif. -IndexBlok Drive Module (XDM) is a cost-effective way to drive virtually any three-phase motor from 1-20kW without a sensor. A software algorithm replaces physical sensors providing flux tracking at a 200 microsecond update estimating actual rotor position every 400 microseconds. Applications include simple and complex indexing with up to 16-bit resolution per electrical cycle of the motor. Up to 36 drives can be connected via RS-485.
