Precision balances offer built-in software, precision weighing
Reflex HP Series precision balances from Avery Weigh-Tronix Inc. are available in eight models for high-precision applications in the food and beverage, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
Reflex HP Series precision balances from Avery Weigh-Tronix Inc. feature patented force motor weighing technology for accurate results and rapid response. Built in is a Microsoft Windows Direct data input function that allows information to be sent from the balance to a PC directly for simplified data collection and on-screen monitoring. Reflex HP Series balances connect to the computer by cable for easy setup and operation; no software installation is required. Recorded data are compatible with standard desktop programs including Excel, Access, and Lotus 1-2-3.
Series comes in eight models with maximum weighing capacity from 220 to 8,200 grams and accurate readability to within 0.01 grams. All models have a large, bright backlit display that produces visible results under difficult conditions. An analog bar graph indicates remaining weighing capacity to avoid overloading and waste. Analytical models have wipeable surfaces and detachable doors and door rails.
An automatic calibration facility ensures regular calibration and accurate results. It can be set to adjust the balance for small changes in ambient temperature or to calibrate at a time that best suits work schedules. Calibration details can be output to a PC or printer with internally generated time, data, and serial and model number of the balance for complete QA traceability. Applications include counting, checkweighing, specific gravity measurement, and below-balance weighing in the food and beverage, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
