Project engineering company acquired

Pieper Electric, Inc., a provider of electrical construction, automation, wastewater treatment, and other services, acquired HiTech Controls and Manufacturing Solutions, which specializes in project engineering, robotics, and machine vision.

Pieper Electric, Inc., a provider of electrical construction, automation, wastewater treatment, and other services, acquired HiTech Controls and Manufacturing Solutions. The deal is designed to compliment and leverage the collective strengths of each organization. Pieper Electric, Inc. is a 69-year-old company with over 850 employees. The company recently consolidated their metro Milwaukee operations at a new location in New Berlin, Wisc., to help support their growth plans. HiTech has operations in Green Bay and Neenah, Wisc., and Cincinnati, Ohio. HiTech began professional practice in 1985; and has over 50 employees. HiTech, which will continue operating under that name, specializes in robotics, vision inspection systems, custom engineering assembly machines, and project engineering. HiTech was also a 2009 Control Engineering System Integrator of the Year winner.
