Bakersfield, CA – ProSoft Technology has introduced its Wireless Point I/O Adapter (ILX34-AENWG), a high speed, standards-based 802.11g wireless I/O as well as a new Appliance Transaction Manager (ILX56-M2M).From a wireless standpoint the Wireless Point I/O provides high speed, low latency 802.11g client communication via RadioLinx Industrial Hotspots or third party 802.11g access points, providing security for the end user’s investment by utilizing standards-based wireless. For security the Wireless Point I/O employs 802.11i WPA2 with AES Encryption. It provides users with the flexibility and scalability (up to 63 modules) offered by the many standard Rockwell Automation POINT I/O modules including analog and digital input and output and relays, RTD, and counters. The Appliance Transaction Manager is an in-chassis module for the ControlLogix platform which enables users to migrate to the ControlLogix platform from legacy PLCs or third-party PLCs.This multi-system data concentrator supports SLC 500, PLC5, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix processors using DH+, ControlNet, Remote I/O, and DH-485 networks, Siemens processors using S7 industrial Ethernet and Schneider Electric processors using Modbus TCP/IP.The Appliance Transaction Manager requires no PLC programming or ladder logic. For more information, visit www.prosoft-technology.com .
