The Provox operator console (POC) can be installed in a client/server or stand-alone configuration. Existing database can be preserved; information can be downloaded directly to new POCs.

The Provox operator console (POC) can be installed in a client/server or stand-alone configuration. Existing database can be preserved; information can be downloaded directly to new POCs. The Provox application server (PAS) provides a platform to integrate control system information with other applications and control systems. PAS uses OPC (OLE for process control) technology and supports Visual Basic and Microsoft Visual C++. Existing Provox CHIP (computer highway interface product) user programs are compatible with PAS.
