PuffinSCADA for Linux

Westborough, Mass. – Control.com recently released PuffinSCADA, a new open source SCADA software for Linux operating systems. Developed, reviewed, and tested by open source users, PuffinSCADA includes a software toolkit consisting of a C-based library of alarm processing, message logs, and data historian modules. Other library functions are available for operating on memory, files and strings; managing high level socket and FIFO connections; and manipulating time and date at millisecond resolution. Also included in the PuffinSCADA toolkit is a SCADA reference implementation built with the library modules and functions.
