D/G/MO3 Kel-Cell Series of industrial pumps from Wanner Engineering use diaphragm position control (DPC) technology to control the position of the diaphragm under adverse inlet conditions to achieve a high degree of diaphragm rupture protection.

Minneapolis, MN —D/G/MO3 Kel-Cell Series of industrial pumps from Wanner Engineering now feature patented diaphragm position control (DPC) technology. The technology lets pumps control the position of the diaphragm under a variety of adverse inlet conditions to provide a high degree of diaphragm rupture protection.DPC technology reportedly eliminates the possibility of an incidental diaphragm failure caused by adverse system conditions that often result in excessive vacuum conditions on a pump inlet. Such conditions are said to have been responsible for 80% of diaphragm failures.Pumps provide maximum capacity of 3.0 gpm at 1,750 rpm, maximum inlet pressure to 250 psi, and pressure variable to 1,200 psi. They can be close-coupled to NEMA 56c faced or metric motors, or belt-driven, depending on need. Applications include pumping clean and non-lubricating fluids, abrasive solutions, caustics, corrosives, and high-temperature fluids.
