A quarter century of innovations in the tough environments of software computing and computer operating systems is no small accomplishment. QNX Software Systems has recently reached that significant milestone. The company claims to be “the first…to take software outside of traditional computing environments and unleash smart devices and equipment” …while kicking off the embedded revolution 25 years ago.

QNX is a global leader in real-time, microkernel operating system technology. It numbers among its customers such companies as Cisco, DaimlerChrysler, General Electric, Intel, Lockheed Martin, Renesas, and Siemens. QNX software finds application ranging from space exploration and surgery to offshore oil drilling and global warming research—as well as in numerous industries and commercial/consumer products.
