Regulator basics beneficial

While catching up on my reading, I came across your October 1998 Control Engineering article, "Pressure Regulators Simplicity May Suffice" (p. 117). I just wanted to say great work! Your article and the good illustrations will be very helpful to me in educating others about regulator operation.

While catching up on my reading, I came across your October 1998 Control Engineering article, “Pressure Regulators Simplicity May Suffice” (p. 117). I just wanted to say great work! Your article and the good illustrations will be very helpful to me in educating others about regulator operation. It’s amazing to see how many good engineers involved with fluid controls for many years still don’t understand the basics of regulator operation.

I had the good fortune of having my patented valve invention featured in the “Technology Update” article in Control Engineering back in the April 1995 issue, p. 12. It shows my new type of inline regulator which I’m just now getting around to developing and marketing. Applying the concept to two-way and three-way valves has taken center stage so far. I hope to see more of your good educational materials in future issues.
