Robotic Workspace Technologies approves acquisition by Innova

Fort Myers, FL—Innova Holdings Inc. and Robotic Workspace Technologies Inc. (RWT) report that RWT’s shareholders have approved its acquisition by Innova.

Fort Myers, FL— Innova Holdings Inc. and Robotic Workspace Technologies Inc. (RWT) report that RWT’s shareholders have approved its acquisition by Innova. The directors of both companies have also approved the purchase. The deal also closed recently.

“We look forward to launching a series of new commercial initiatives, given the support of our RWT shareholders in approving our board’s recommendation to bring RWT and Innova together. We are dedicated to making this a success,” said Walter Weisel, RWT’s founder, who became Innova’s chairman and CEO at the closing.

RWT’s products and services are built around two U.S.-issued patents with international filings, numerous trademarks, and intellectual property, including its Universal Robot Controller (URC) and RobotScript programming software. The company’s products transform the way robots and automated equipment are programmed, operated, and upgraded. RWT’s solutions and licensed technologies assist many applications in Fortune 500-sized companies. These products operate in pharmaceutical, automotive, aerospace, military, and government lab applications.
