Rockwell Automation is working with IBM Health Care and Life Sciences to deliver manufacturing technology and expertise as part of the IBM Value-Driven Compliance Solutions framework.

IBM’s Value-Driven Compliance Solutions framework is an initiative designed to help pharmaceutical companies improve manufacturing efficiencies, comply with systems-based regulations and increase top-line growth. IBM is teaming with solution providers, including Rockwell Automation, to transform the development, manufacturing, and supply chain asset base of large pharmaceutical and bio-tech manufacturers from a process-based to a science-based approach. This science-based approach helps manufacturers comply with government regulations by focusing on designing quality into the manufacturing process as opposed to post-manufacturing inspection.

Rockwell Automation, IBM, and other partners have demonstrated how life sciences manufacturers can integrate information to identify revenue opportunities and cost efficiencies in a real-time manufacturing environment.
