The new panel is tested and certified to withstand wind, snow, rain, and direct sun, working on heavy-duty motors in remote locations, or inside a steamy offshore engine room.

The T7BR’s screen is 800 x 480 pixel and is 500 or 1,000 cd/m2 sunlight viewable. The panels are designed for an operating temperature of -30 to 70 C (-40 to 85 C in storage) and conform to NEMA 4X and IP66 standards. It is capable of operating in high-vibration environments and comes with two Ethernet, two serial, three USB standard, and two optional CiX CAN ports. The iX T7BR comes with Beijer’s iX HMI software with universal controller connectivity, while the PPC T7BR comes with a Windows Embedded Standard 7 (WES7) operating system.
