Beijer Electronics’ T7BR is a rugged 7-in. HMI operator panel designed for operation in extreme environments. The new panel is tested and certified to withstand wind, snow, rain, and direct sun, working on heavy-duty motors in remote locations, or inside a steamy offshore engine room.
The T7BR’s screen is 800 x 480 pixel and is 500 or 1,000 cd/m2 sunlight viewable. The panels are designed for an operating temperature of -30 to 70 C (-40 to 85 C in storage) and conform to NEMA 4X and IP66 standards. It is capable of operating in high-vibration environments and comes with two Ethernet, two serial, three USB standard, and two optional CiX CAN ports. The iX T7BR comes with Beijer’s iX HMI software with universal controller connectivity, while the PPC T7BR comes with a Windows Embedded Standard 7 (WES7) operating system.
Proven to the extremes
The rugged T7BR in its iX and Panel PC versions adds strength to Beijer Electronics’ total rugged range, which also includes the 15-in. iX T15BR and PPC T15BR. The entire TxBR HMI family is certified by major classification societies for hazardous environments (UL, IECEx, ATEX) as well as to marine standards (ABS, DNV, GL, LR, KR) for use on vessels and offshore installations.

The iX HMI Software on the iX T15BR provides unique tools to communicate. It combines top-class vector graphics and smarter functions that provide intuitive operation on the spot-not to mention the almost limitless connectivity to other equipment through the extensive list of drivers.
