Model GF90 flowmeter from Fluid Components International is said to maintain optimum flow measurement performance in rugged applications where dirt, grit, and grime are present in the fluid. Insertion style device features self-cleaning purge ports to minimize maintenance requirements. Purge ports can be connected to compressed air, inert gas, or solvent purge lines to remove process contaminants regularly without removing the sensor element from the pipe. Thermal mass gas flow sensing element has a 316 stainless steel and nickel-braze construction. It can also be specified with corrosion and abrasion-resistant alloys. It operates in fluid temperature applications from–100 to 850 °F (-73 to 454 °C) and pressure applications to 1,000 psig (69 bar (g)).
