Now equipped with dual-core processors, the product allows integration of controls that previously required separate, dedicated systems (industrial PCs, PLCs) and also provides visualization in one system with the right software adaptation. As a result, only one computer is needed for control and visualization tasks, even for critical and highly complex real-time applications.

Server is applicable to computers used in the field or in manufacturing processes—such as production and preparation of plastic film, paper, textiles, sheet metal—which have interfaces to the management level in parallel with manufacturing control. They are also suited for tough environmental conditions found in materials processing industries, offshore, mining, test and measure, image processing, and medical technology.
KISS-Short servers are equipped with T2500 Intel Core Duo processors and Mobile Intel 945GM Express chipset. They offer 2 GHz dual-frequency at 31 W, 667 FSB, and 2 MB L2 cache. Systems are also available with an Intel Core Due L2400 processor with 1.66 GHz dual-frequency (LV) or an Intel Core Solo T1300 1.66 GHz processor. The servers require 1/3 less space than conventional designs in a 19-in. enclosure, leaving room for rear-lying cable ducts and dock-ons. Flexible products have 3 to 9 PCI expansion slots for I/O assemblies and up to six hard drive connections. Housing comes in tower, desktop, and 19-in. enclosure versions. Lockable front cover offers IP20 protection, Designed for continuous operation, these servers are CE certified and UL qualified.
