Servo drives with 20 kHz current loop

Camarillo, Calif. -DR100EE Series digital servo drives are designed to control brush dc and brushless servo motors, including linear motors. Space Vector Modulation switching is used in the 20 kHz current loop to increase bandwidth for high-performance motion control. Electronic commutation of brushless motors employs a sinusoidal encoder, said to obtain the lowest possible torque ripple (or force ripple for linear motors). A graphical Microsoft Windows-based utility provides drive configuration and tuning via an RS-232/485 port.
