Goshen, Ind.— WebSPC lets manufacturers share statistical process control (SPC) data with colleagues at other plants, corporate headquarters, or even customers across the Internet. Web SPC overcomes the challenges of disparate platforms, WAN limitations, and security. SPC charts and reports are saved in HTML format so that they can be viewed using a web browser. Both Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer are supported. A query capability is included. The System Manager sets up password-protected user names with accessibility levels to limit the types of charts, reports, queries, and data sets each user may access.
