Davis, Calif. – When a lot of connectivity is needed, Ether6 packs a DOS-based computer, 10BaseT Ethernet, six serial ports, and optional 10Base2 in a rugged aluminum enclosure. The computer is Intel 386Ex based, and serial ports feature unique interrupts and FIFOs. A socket en-ables additional data storage using M-Systems DiskOnChip products, the capability of integrating a Cermetek modem, and JK microsystems integrated peripheral boards.
