VersaDyne small engine test system from Sakor Technologies Inc. tests 2- and 4-cycle engines. Available in sizes from 5 to 30 kW, it features a regenerative ac motoring dynamometer in a convertible, horizontal/vertical package. Dynamometer uses Flux Vector technology for precise speed and torque control over a wide dynamic range. System is designed to return absorbed power to the plant mains for minimal heat rejection and little or no need for external cooling. Its DynoLab PT engine test cell controller provides automated test cycle control in a Microsoft Windows-based environment.
