The anodized aluminum chassis is just over 2 in. tall, with a footprint about the size of a hardcover novel, measuring 10 x 5.87 x 2.75 in., and a weight of approximately 6 lb. An open PCI card slot permits addition of specialized I/O, video, data acquisition, and communications cards. Also built into the small design is a multitude of I/O connectivity, such as LAN, serial, 3-USB 2.0, FireWire, video, audio, PS/2 mouse, and keyboard ports. A built-in 2.5-in. high-shock hard drive provides up to 160 GB of storage space for archived data.
For applications that require extremely high shock, vibration, and wide temperature ranges, an optional solid state hard drive or flash drive is available. A slim DVD / CD-RW optical drive is standard with optional DVD burner available. Systems are compatible with Microsoft Vista/XP, Linux, and more, and can be custom configured to meet customer needs.
Prices start at $995, depending on configuration.
