Rancho Cordova, Calif.— CyboCon uses a patent-pending Model-Free Adaptive control technology specifically to control pH value loops. It controls the full pH range with precision enabling automatic control of acid or alkaline concentration. Its adaptive capability allows it to compensate for nonlinear gain changes. Strong acid and strong alka line based pH systems can be controlled because CyboCon is not sensitive to the shape and position variations in the Titration curve. A PID controller will either make the pH system oscillate near neutrality or become slow and sluggish away from neutrality. Running on Microsoft Windows NT, CyboCon pH interfaces to all major PLCs, DCSs, single-loop controllers, and HMIs.
