Rosemont, IL— Lumberg Inc. reports that it’s releasing a complete line of connectivity products that meet the harsh environmental demands of the food and beverage processing and packaging industries. The company is exhibiting its products this week at SPS Electric Automation America 2005 , May 23-26, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, near Chicago.

Lumberg’s connectivity products use stainless steel hardware, PVC inserts, and cable jackets with over-molding. Rated at IP 69K, great care is taken to insure each product is produced with smooth surfaces to avoid build-up of residue and bacteria, and can withstand the daily use of aggressive cleaning agents and high pressure or steam jet cleaning.

Designed using the Micro (M12) standard, the complete portfolio consists of an array of passive and active distribution boxes, single or double-ended cordsets, field attachable connectors and receptacles. Due to the high quality of materials used, a longer life span and reduction in machine down time is obtained, resulting in overall reduced costs and improved operations to the end user.
