Visitors at the annual event increased 19% to 16,400, while 540 exhibitors (55 more than in 1998) occupied 30,000 mkeeping with the show’s name, a wide range of technologies were on display—from digital and analog industrial communication networks, and industrial software to electric drives/motors, sensors, and machine vision systems.
