SPS/IPC/Drives electric automation show set for November

By Control Engineering Staff October 27, 2005

Just a reminder that SPS/IPC/Drives Exhibition and Conference is less than a month away—slated for Nov. 22-24, 2005 in Nuremberg, Germany. This focused annual electric automation show for systems and components, has shown remarkable resilience in bucking the downtrend of size and attendance for other technology shows.

Latest figures from show organizer Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH forecast that about 1,100 companies from 31 countries are expected to exhibit. Key show topics will be “Ethernet in Automation” (carried over by demand from 2004), “Safety and Security in Automation,” and “Motion Control.” The three topics are expected to permeate through the exhibition and conference via technology presentations, panel discussions, and forums.

Highlights of this event will be reported in Control Engineering in print and online. For further details on exhibiting or visiting, click SPS/IPC/Drives 2005 .
