Bayreuth, Germany— Stäubli reports that it is “accelerating its development” by purchasing the “robotics activity” of Bosch-Rexroth in Germany. The acquisition is subject to the approval of applicable regulatory authorities.

Stäubli adds that it has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing industrial robots. Stäubli will continue to supply products and services to Bosch-Rexroth’s existing robotics customers.

By widening its offer with SCARA robots from Bosch-Rexroth, Stäubli adds that it will become a global supplier able to offer a complete range of products. These include four- to six- axis robots, which Stäubli says are known for their robustness, precision, quality, and performance.
