All channels are individually configurable for range, alarm limits, and averaging; in addition, sampling rate, resolution, bandwidth, excitation voltage, and choice of shunt calibration resistors are user settable parameters. The MAQ20 frequency input module accepts zero-crossing and TTL signals with frequencies from 1 Hz to 1 MHz plus state change and provides a DC stimulus for contact sensors. The system also includes analog output voltage and current modules and discrete input/output modules, in addition to the communications modules. MAQ20 system features also include 1500 Vrms channel-to-bus isolation, up to 240 Vrms continuous field I/O protection, and 4000 V input transient protection. MAQ20 modules mount on industry standard 35 by 7.5 mm gull-wing DIN rails. The MAQ20 system is suited for test and measurement, factory and process automation, machine automation, military and aerospace, power and energy, oil and gas, and environmental monitoring.
