Logan, UT —Data Dolphin 320 data monitor from Scientific Technologies Inc., Automation Products Group , offers NEMA 6P/IP68 protection for laboratory-grade accuracy in the field. Device provides data monitoring and recording in temperatures from–40 to more than 60 °C in a variety of industries from oil and gas to food processing. Applications include factory automation, interconnecting weir monitoring, tidal studies, stream and river monitoring, and remote environmental studies.
Four single-ended or differential high-precision inputs provide 24-bit digital-to-analog conversion. Built-in analog and digital filters eliminate the need for external signal conditioning. Four standard precision inputs accept pulse, on/off status, event start-stop, and analog signals with 10-bit digital-to-analog conversion. Wireless communication options include cellular modem, spread spectrum radio, or WiFi. Standard wired communications are provided with RS-232 serial connections.
Data are stored in a non-volatile flash memory, housed inside a database structure that allows adding or deleting inputs and changing the sample rate without having to restart the monitor. At an average sampling rate of five minutes on two inputs, it would take more than three years for the device’s memory to reach capacity.
