Summa joins Rockwell FactoryTalk program

Milwaukee — Summa , has joined Rockwell Automation’s FactoryTalk information solution provider program , launched in October 2006. The company provides IT consulting services and customized software development for companies in various industries The program supplies manufacturers with an extended network of information systems professionals to help integrate their control and information environments for better manufacturing performance.
FactoryTalk suite consists of integrated production and performance software that facilitates better interaction between the plant floor and higher-level business systems, and through which Rockwell trains and certifies participants on implementing applications. Summa’s team of consultants will deliver FactoryTalk solutions and assist Rockwell in providing manufacturers with better integration between their ERP and plant-floor control systems.
The company also will assist manufacturers in building plant-wide information applications and manufacturing execution systems (MES) using FactoryTalk and use its background to help clients evaluate and implement IT modernization strategies to better meet their business and performance objectives.
