Sunlight-readable displays are designed for places in which the LCD must be viewed outdoors or under high ambient light conditions. Transflective devices use light power to increase display readability. Sunlight is captured by the display and reflected back through the screen to improve contrast even under harsh conditions. Applications include factory automation, process control, security/surveillance displays, and kiosks. Displays come in three sizes: 10.4 in., 12.1 in., and 15.0 in. Custom units are also available.
