Swivel elbow for food processing and hygienic applications

Camozzi Pneumatics’ nickel-plated brass male swivel elbow features the company’s Pro-Fit thread design, which allows assembly into female thread NPT (national pipe thread) as well as BSP (British standard pipe) forms. The Pro-Fit thread design also eliminates exposed threads and fits into tight spaces and is designed for food processing and hygienic applications. The captured Teflon sealing ring provides a dependable and reusable shoulder seal without the risk of thread sealant contamination. Camozzi’s male swivel elbow is durable and has an all-metal, nickel-plated body, threads, collet, and release ring. The materials provide resistance to UV exposure, stress cracking, abrasion, solvents, detergents, hydrocarbons, and other fluid media. The combination of compact size and lighter weight allow end-of-arm tooling and robotic handling, as well as reduced dimensions for valve assemblies, packaging applications and control cabinets. Other features include no exposed threads, which makes it ideal for wash-down applications. It is suitable for applications involving food contact and has a captured, re-usable Teflon ring seal for quicker installation
