Boston, Mass.— Applied Analytics Inc. has announced a new tail gas analyzer. The new TLG-837 uses mathematical tools and superior optics to achieve better analytical results. The light is transmitted via a short fiber-optics cable into a probe that is inserted into the process line through a bored ball valve for “hot-tapping.” The light then passes through the gas and is reflected by a mirror and sent back to the spectrometer via a second optical fiber for analysis. Steam is used to keep the windows clean from sulfur deposits at all time. Applied Analytics
