TCEnet helping Foxboro SCADA monitor Gas Authority of India LPG pipeline

Calgary, Alberta, Canada—TCEnet Inc. announced Jan. 10 that its Simulutions division was awarded a $600,000 contract to help Foxboro SCADA (Rome, Italy) supply supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and pipeline application software to monitor LPG transport at Gas Authority of India Ltd.'s (GAIL) 580-kilometer Vizag-to-Secunderabad pipeline network.

Simulutions’ PipeWorks pipeline application platform will provide GAIL with leak detection, leak location, and look-ahead modeling, as well as other real-time applications provided by Simulutions LeakWarn system. Predictive modeling and pump station optimization applications will also be delivered. The GAIL installation will broaden Simulutions’ installed base located in Canada, the United States, South America, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa. This project is TCEnet’s first in India, which is one of the world’s fastest growing pipeline markets.
