Temperature sensor calibrator
Fluke's 1586A Super-DAQ Precision Temperature Scanner helps calibrate temperature sensors without requiring a PC or software and it also has up to 40 analog input channels and can scan up to 10 channels per second.
Fluke’s 1586A Super-DAQ Precision Temperature Scanner helps calibrate temperature sensors more efficiently by automating the process without requiring a PC or software. When the 1586A is connected to select Fluke Calibration dry-wells, fluid baths, or furnaces, the Super-DAQ controls the temperature source to run the calibration automatically. The technician can program the number of set-point temperatures and their values, selects a scan sequence, assigns a reference channel, and sets the required stability band. The Super-DAQ monitors the temperature source’s stability through the reference channel, collects data from the reference probe and the unit under test once stabilized, and then advances to the next set-point temperature without user intervention. The 1586A has up to 40 analog input channels and scan rates as fast as 10 channels per second making it ideal for applications such as thermal mapping, process sensor calibration, quality control testing, lifecycle testing, process monitoring, and environmental testing, with best-in-class temperature measurement accuracy of plus-or-minus 0.005° C for PRTs, 0.5° C for thermocouples, and 0.002° C for thermistors.
