Singapore— Previously staged separately, three Asian technology exhibitions will run concurrently here on June 5-8, 2001. ICAM Asia 2001, International Trade Fair for Industrial Control, Automation, and Measurement, and IA 2001, 7th International Industrial Automation Exhibition, will be staged together for the first time. The third show, LogisMat 2001—International Exhibition, for Materials Handling, Warehousing, Distribution and Supply Chain Management—will join the overall event at the Singapore Expo Center. ICAM will focus on the latest developments in process control, instrumentation, measurement, and automation technologies, and is expected to attract 100 worldwide exhibitors and 2,500 visitors. IA 2001 expects to draw 200 industrial automation exhibitors. Because most visitors are expected to come from Asia, the three shows will give U.S. and other exhibitors access to large local markets.
