Advantech’s 12.1- and 15-in. TPC-1251T and TPC-1551T touch panel computers feature an Intel Atom E3827 1.75 GHz processor designed to provide enhanced performance in a variety of industries. The displays feature Advantech’s iDoor technology, which is a modular way of adding functionality to give system integrators the flexibility to choose the functions that they need. The iDoor technology features isolated DI/O ports, Profibus, and CANOpen modules. There are two USB 3.0 ports, a PCI slot for adding functions, and the iDoor technology slot uses a mini PCIe connector. If not being used for iDoor, it can be used for adding additional cards such as Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS. If further I/O ports are needed, an expansion kit provides additional storage for hard disks/solid state disk and iDoor modules. Each computer has 4GB DDR3L SDRAM and can be used with a variety of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Linux, and Advantech software applications like WebAccess, Panel Express, and SUSIAccess. The displays are also feature IP66 protection against dust and water as well as IP65 protection on the front panel.
