Type 950XP explosion-proof I/P (current-to-pressure) transducer is approved by Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and Factory Mutual (FM) for use with natural gas. Device converts an electrical current signal to a proportionally linear pneumatic output to actuate valves. When compressed plant air is not available to operate pneumatic valve actuators, natural gas from a pipeline may be used to supply the inlet pressure to the Type 950XP transducer, which provides the output pressure used to drive control valves.
