Communications for programming and networking is provided via an RS-232 interface. Macros, programs and point information is retained in 32 Kbyte of nonvolatile memory. Optically isolated I/O channels, status LEDs, and a watchdog relay output for external monitoring are provided. Support for motion control requirements such as point-to-point positioning, velocity control, master/slave and gearing, joystick input, circular and linear interpolation, PID filter with velocity and acceleration feed-forward, and “on-the-fly” changeable parameters and targets are included.
