A U.S. Department of Energy grant goes to CyboSoft for research and development of “Intelligent Control of Advanced Power Generation Systems Using Model-Free Adaptive Control Technology” (MFA), the company says. The work aims to deliver an intelligent control system for “controlling boilers in future energy plants that can deliver maximum energy efficiency, near-zero emissions, fuel-flexibility, and multiple products. This could represent a major breakthrough for the combustion industry.”

Dr. George Cheng, CyboSoft chairman and CEO, says, “With today’s energy and environmental crisis, we are obligated to make our best effort to assist the industry and society to overcome the technical difficulties for building our next generation power and energy plants to burn dirty fuel cleanly and produce highly efficient energy.”

The award was among 289 presented by DOE among 1,387 applications. www.cybosoft.com , www.doe.gov
