Ultrasonic Proximity Sensors

Newton, Pa. —SonicLaser ultrasonic proximity sensors come in 18 models and feature a narrow, concentrated beam angle 2.5° off-center axis. This narrow beam angle is said to render the sensor insensitive to echo interference from surrounding objects. Measuring ranges vary from 3.28 to 26.25 ft.

This narrow beam angle is said to render the sensor insensitive to echo interference from surrounding objects. Measuring ranges vary from 3.28 to 26.25 ft., depending on the model. Accuracy is rated from 0.08 to 0.2-in. The sensors operate in temperatures ranging from–20 to +140 °F.
