USDATA releases upgrade

Richardson, Tex. - USDATA Corp. announced the release of its manufacturing execution system (MES) software, Xfactory 2.0.

Richardson, Tex. – USDATA Corp. announced the release of its manufacturing execution system (MES) software, Xfactory 2.0.

New features include:

  • Added new Role-based Clients including Automated, Shop Floor, Plant Information, Production Configuration, Process Control, and Process Configuration clients;

  • KPI Dashboard Module gives access to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that can be viewed in a variety of charts or as tabular data;

  • Bi-directional Genealogy Module work-in-process (WIP) analysis and reporting tool can access historical and real-time information about
    products as they move through the production process;

  • Web Reports contain a selection of pre-configured Key Performance Indicator (KPI) web accessible reports;

  • Data Warehouse Module allows data from the production database to be ‘warehoused’ or stored to an archive database that supports both Microsoft SQL 7.0 (or later) and Oracle 8I databases;

  • Real-time Production Module displays a variety of views of the current status of the manufacturing process in action;

  • Save and Restore utility is used primarily to save or restore Xfactory data.
