Users’ choice is a ‘fundamental belief’

I wanted to let you know I thought your editorial in the October 1998 Control Engineering ("Users Pick Standards," p. 69) was right on. Your first two points are fundamental beliefs that have guided Opto 22's long-term strategy in providing better solutions to our customers (the Microsoft monopoly is of a less critical nature).
