Eugene, OR— VersaLogic recently reported that Jaguar, its fastest PC/104-Plus single board computer, features an Intel Pentium III/Celeron CPU module, which offers small size, fast processing, AGP video, and fast Ethernet. The board has a wide range of potential applications, including avionics, military, medical, gaming, semiconductor, and industrial automation.

CPU options include Pentium III and Celeron processors from 350 MHz to 850 MHz, with fanless options available. Additional features include 10/100 Base-T Ethernet with remote boot option; AGP video/flat panel; bootable disk-on-chip flash socket; and standard I/O lines.

Transient voltage suppressors provide ESD protection on the I/O ports, reducing the risk of static damage. The board is software compatible with Microsoft Windows, QNX, Linux, RT-Linux, and other RTOSs. Full Socket 370 compatibility in the small PC/104 footprint is possible due to its two-board design.
