VFDs in 40- to 60-hp range

Danfoss Drives’ VLT AutomotiveDrive variable frequency drives now come in the 40- to 60-hp range. Power extension covers IP21 and IP55-rated enclosures in the 380 to 480/500-V range. Design is now available to satisfy power demands from fractional to 10 hp; 200 to 600-V ac. Drive is said to monitor, analyze related conditions, and take action to ensure smooth production. It is user-programmable to adapt to complex operations at various points in the line using a built-in Smart Logic Controller for essential control functions or an optional MCO PLC for advanced operations.
