The Pentium III processor offers performance enhancements such as Streaming SIMD Extensions: 70 new instructions providing advanced imaging, 3D, streaming audio and video, and speech recognition applications. Real-time operating features include 48 MB flash, battery-packed SRAM, three 32-bit timers, and a software-programmable watchdog timer. Rounding out the features are a 10/100 Mbit Ethernet channel, and a 100 MHz FSB and SDRAM interface coupled with a 4 MB S3 Trio3D AGP graphics adapter. VMIC
