VMIC launches Instant OPC.

To make OLE for Process Control (OPC) easier to implement, VMIC Microsystem International Corp. recently introduced “Instant OPC.” The new product fast tracks OPC client implementations by providing easy-to-use functions that simplify the OPC interface, according to VMIC. Instant OPC can connect with any OPC server, browse the defined tag database, and read and write the tag values. It is also a Dynamic Link Library (DDL), and is supplied with examples and test applications. Instant OPC works with Visual Basic, C and C++.
