My May 2004 article, ”Pros and Cons of Linux on the Shop Floor,” will look at developments in Linux OS for the demanding industrial environment. Focus will be strictly on factory-floor, manufacturing, and control applications. Input on your experience as users of Linux OS is needed for this article.
