Maple Systems Inc. has released three widescreen graphic operator interface terminals, also known as HMIs (human machine interfaces). Coming in 4.3-in., 7-in. and 10-in. sizes, they deliver visual clarity, crispness, brightness and color and one-third more usable screen area than previous models.

Their 7-in. widescreen (the HMI5070TH) allows the display of high definition graphics on an 800 x 480 pixel TFT touchscreen.

The 10-in. widescreen (800 x 480 pixel resolution) includes a 400MHz processor, double the speed of most competitors’ models, according to the company, and the same connectivity package as the 7-in. unit.

The 4.3-in widescreen has a 480 x 272 pixel resolution TFT display that provides 75% more pixel coverage than a standard 6-in. unit.
